POP! AR Greeting Cards ("POP!", "we", "us", "our") is operated from New Zealand. We provide a service that allows customers to create personalised greeting cards with AR (augmented reality) 3D models that can be viewed via a smartphone camera.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely via Stripe — POP! does not store your payment card details.
After payment, a print-ready PDF is generated and made available to download. This PDF is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may print it as many times as needed on home or professional printing equipment.
Physical cards are printed and dispatched from New Zealand. Delivery estimates are indicative only — POP! is not liable for delays caused by NZ Post or courier services.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that violate these terms, including orders containing content that violates our content rules (see Section 6).
Each card includes a unique QR code that links to your AR experience. These links remain active for 30 days from the date of payment. After this period the link expires and the 3D model can no longer be viewed.
Why 30 days? 3D model files are large and storage has a cost. The 30-day window covers the typical gift-giving moment. You may order a new card at any time to generate a fresh AR experience.
POP! also reserves the right to remove AR content at any time if it is found to violate our content rules, without refund.
POP! uses Meshy AI to generate 3D models from text prompts and uploaded photos. By using our 3D generation features, you also agree to Meshy AI's terms and acceptable use policy.
Meshy AI may use prompts, uploaded images, and generated models to improve and retrain their AI models. This is standard practice for AI services. If you do not wish your content to be used for AI training, you should not use the text-to-3D or photo-to-3D features.
POP! does not control Meshy AI's data practices. For full details, see Meshy AI's Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Acceptable Use Policy.
3D models are generated by artificial intelligence. Results are not guaranteed to match your expectations exactly. The AI may produce unexpected shapes, proportions, or details. POP! is not responsible for AI outputs that differ from what you envisaged — if a result is unsatisfactory, you can regenerate using a different prompt.
Preset models are curated by the POP! team and are quality-checked before being made available. They are provided as-is for use with POP! AR cards only and may not be downloaded or used outside of the POP! platform.
When you upload a photo to create a 3D model, you confirm that:
POP! is not responsible for verifying ownership of uploaded images. Responsibility for ensuring proper usage rights lies entirely with you, the customer.
Do not upload images that depict copyrighted characters, branded logos, trademarked imagery, or any content you do not have the right to use. This includes cartoon characters (Disney, Marvel, Pokémon, etc.), brand logos, artwork, or photographs taken by others.
POP! will remove content that is reported as infringing and may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate copyright. We may forward details of serious infringement to the affected rights holder if required by law.
The personal message, card title, and custom design you create remain yours. By using POP!, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely for the purpose of generating and delivering your order.
POP! is a family-friendly service. The following content is strictly prohibited:
POP! reviews generated models and reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules, without notice and without refund. Accounts that repeatedly violate these rules will be suspended.
Automated filtering: Prompts are screened automatically before generation. Some requests may be blocked by safety filters. Attempts to circumvent safety filtering are grounds for account termination.
We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:
POP! does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking tools. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
POP! does not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely on our servers hosted on Fly.io in their Sydney (Australia) region. Uploaded images and 3D models are stored on our server volumes and are not distributed to third-party CDNs beyond what is needed to serve your AR experience.
Order information is retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. AR experience files (images and 3D models) may be deleted after 30 days from the order date. You may request earlier deletion — see Section 8.
POP! is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

We process your data on the basis of contract (to fulfil your order) and legitimate interest (to operate our business and prevent fraud). We do not process data on the basis of consent, so there is no consent to withdraw — but you may request deletion at any time as above.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, POP! AR Gifting's liability for any claim arising from use of our service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
We are not liable for: indirect or consequential loss; loss of data; dissatisfaction with AI-generated results; delays caused by third-party services (Stripe, Meshy AI, NZ Post); or any event outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the New Zealand courts.
